Sarah Guarino

DPT, CSCS, IADN-cert

Sarah is a licensed Physical Therapist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) looking to help bridge the gap between fitness and rehabilitation. Having spent years working in traditional physical therapy clinics, Sarah recognized that a significant portion of injury and pain could be prevented if athletes addressed functional deficits prior to injury and pain development. Most athletes and athletic-minded individuals develop imbalances either from repetitive sport movements or training errors. Sarah’s experience and background have provided her with the skills to evaluate athletes to help them better prepare their bodies to avoid injury.

Sarah’s desire is to not only help people recover from injury and abolish pain, but also to work preventatively to educate and promote balance for overall enhanced performance. She has created multifaceted programs that treat the body as a whole with a combination of strength, mobility, proprioception and a variety of soft tissue interventions including Dry Needling, Cupping, Graston Technique, massage, manipulation, Kinesotaping and active release technique (ART).

Sarah has worked with athletes across the country of all levels; from high school and college athletes, to professional teams in every sport (NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL, MLS and premier league) as well as recreational athletes, marathoners, triathletes, Olympians, Ironman athletes and competitive lifters. She is experienced working with high performance individuals and can tailor her treatment to complement and enhance a demanding training schedule.

“Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live.”
