Resume & Coursework
Sarah has spent her entire lift in athletics with an overall interest in physiology and wellness. Born in upstate New York, Sarah excelled at soccer, ultimately playing for Ithaca College. After she suffered a concussion in high school, Sarah was prescribed a regimen of physical therapy. It was during that time she found her true calling. Sarah was fascinated that strength and balance training helped her recover from a head injury. Discovering the interplay between how the body heals and recovers led her to realize that she wanted to help others. Understanding how the body functions and being able to correct dysfunction to perfect movement is Sarah's passion.
Moving to Philadelphia in 2017, Sarah worked at the world-renowned Vincera Institute. While at Vincera, she worked with elite athletes and patients both pre and post operatively. She has worked with the NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB and MLS. She received certifications in dry needling, blood flow restriction training and treatment techniques for the low back and SI joint and has worked with the best surgeons in the world to correct hip and core muscle injuries and imbalances. She worked with every major professional team in the Philadelphia region and professional teams from around the world. She has been the performance coach at Jefferson University for the Men’s Soccer Team since 2017 and works with club teams in the suburbs as well. Sarah also had the opportunity to work closely with the Philadelphia Flyers to assist in their preseason screening and treatment of players during the season.
